Dave Pounder is an adult film producer, director, and performer. He produces and directs approximately four movies per year, primarily aimed at the young, college-couples market. He was born in Haroldwood, England (Essex County) while his father was working oversees for Ford Motor Company. A few months after his birth, his family returned to Farmington Hills, MI, a suburb approximately 20 miles northwest of Detroit, where Dave spent the first 18 years of his life growing up. Ironically, Dave attended Detroit Catholic Central High School where he studied college prep courses and started to develop an interest in porn. After graduation, Dave attended Michigan State University where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Finance and met the first love of his life, Leslie. Dave accepted a position with GE Capital in the Leadership Development Program, an exclusive management training program at General Electric, which required him to relocate every six months to different cities including Philadelphia, Denver, and Richmond. During the program, Dave held key positions in Risk Management, Finance, Information Technology, and Marketing. After working for two years, Dave attended Arizona State University and attained a Masters degree in Information Management from the College of Business. It was at Arizona State where Dave became very active sexually and joined the swinger community in Phoenix. Upon graduation, Dave accepted a position as a Business Intelligence Analyst for a large financial services company in Irvine, CA, where he still lives today. Dave is one of only a handful of adult celebrities in both the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA); in addition, he was signed to Baron Entertainment, which is one of only a handful of SAG franchised talent agencies in Los Angeles.
Outside of the entertainment realm, Dave enjoys playing tennis, bicycling, kayaking, hiking and camping, chess, going to the beach, and just about anything else outdoors. Dave is very interested in an active, healthy lifestyle. He does not drink, smoke, nor is he involved with any kind of illegal drugs. Dave's future plans include a complete retirement from performing in adult films so he may focus on developing an intimate relationship, taking his radio show nationwide, getting a black belt in Hung Gar and/or Muay Thai, and ultimately writing a book about all his experiences.
